Refund Policy

Huevion Designs is committed to transparency, fairness, and clear communication. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, pauses, and adjustments are handled across different types of services and engagements. Due to the creative, strategic, and time-based nature of the services provided, refunds are managed carefully and in accordance with the terms outlined below.

1. General Principles

Huevion Designs provides services that involve intellectual effort, planning, strategy, and creative execution. Once work has commenced, time and resources are allocated specifically to each client.

For this reason, refunds are limited and assessed based on the type of service, the stage of delivery, and the terms agreed at the time of engagement. This policy operates alongside any applicable consumer protection laws.

2. One-Off Projects

Before Work Commences

If a one-off project is cancelled before any work has started, a refund may be issued case by case basis for amounts paid, minus any administrative, preparation, or onboarding costs already incurred.

After Work Commences

Once work has commenced, payments are non-refundable. This includes time spent on research, strategy, concept development, design exploration, communication, and project management.

If a project is terminated partway through, the client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.

3. Project-Based Milestones

For projects billed in stages or milestones, each milestone payment covers work allocated to that phase. Completed milestones are non-refundable. If a project is cancelled before a future milestone begins, payment for that milestone will not be required.

4. Monthly Plans and Retainers

Billing

Monthly plans and retainers are billed in advance. Payment secures availability, capacity, and ongoing support for the billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are not provided for partially used months, unused hours, or unused capacity within a billing cycle.

Pausing or Cancelling

Monthly plans may be paused or cancelled with written notice as outlined in the agreement. Any work completed prior to the pause or cancellation remains payable.

5. Workshops, Strategy Sessions, and Consultations

Payments for workshops, discovery sessions, strategy sessions, and consultations are non-refundable once confirmed. Rescheduling may be offered with sufficient notice, subject to availability. Missed sessions or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of fees paid.

6. Discovery Calls

Discovery calls offered by Huevion Designs are complimentary. As no payment is required, refunds do not apply.

7. Change of Scope or Direction

If a client requests a significant change in scope, direction, or deliverables after work has commenced, previously completed work remains payable and non-refundable. Any agreed changes may require a revised quote, additional fees, or a new agreement.

8. Delays and Client Availability

Refunds are not provided for delays caused by lack of feedback, approvals, or materials from the client. Extended delays may result in revised timelines, additional fees, or rescheduling based on availability.

9. Dissatisfaction with Deliverables

Huevion Designs encourages open communication throughout each engagement. Refunds are not provided based on subjective dissatisfaction once work has been delivered in accordance with the agreed scope. Revisions within the agreed number of rounds will be honoured as outlined in the proposal.

10. Third-Party Costs

Refunds do not apply to third-party expenses such as software subscriptions, fonts, stock imagery, plugins, printing, hosting, advertising spend, or licensing fees. Any third-party costs incurred on behalf of the client remain payable.

11. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare and exceptional circumstances, Huevion Designs may consider a partial refund at its discretion. This decision will consider the work completed, resources allocated, and any contractual obligations. Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Huevion Designs directly before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery actions where applicable.

13. Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable consumer protection laws. Where required by law, refunds or remedies will be provided in accordance with those laws.

14. Policy Updates

Huevion Designs may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, pricing models, or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available on the Huevion Designs website.
